Dear family and friends,

Lance and Jaime have been hiking now for almost 11 days and are in Gork Shep, 3 1/2 hour walk to Base camp. Jaime has been ill for the last two days and can no longer continue and is being seen by 2 doctors with differing opinions on her condition. If they can get her to Base camp they have a hospital set up there, but now it is night again. Lance considered putting her on a horse but the walking on rock and ice would jar her too much. We are in contact with our Travel Guard insurance company and they are ready to emergency (helicopter) evac her to Mumbai, India. I will be waiting word from Lance and keep you informed. Until then please keep her in your prayers. We would really appreciate it. I am not sure which little girl needs help more but I know Lance is my hero! I will say my prayer!
